Meet Our Principal

Ed Silverman is a nationally and internationally known expert on Telecommunications Power Systems. He has been involved with telecommunications power systems for over 38 years and is especially known for his investigative and training capability. He Chaired ANSI accredited T1E1 groups, and by invitation served on UL AD-HOC committees, industry and governmental forums, panels, and committees. Many communications service providers and manufacturers have relied on Ed's expertise to develop their products and to resolve systems and equipment issues.

Ed directed investigations to determine the cause of equipment failures that led to service outages, fires, and interface problems between users and equipment developers.

His career spans Bell Labs and Bellcore where his expertise was used internationally. He has co-chaired sessions, delivered papers, and served on the Intelec program and registration committees. He has presented papers at service providers seminars and symposiums, and has spoken at industry conferences on power systems, power interface requirements, and telephone architecture.
